Honoured for exceptional service
Our Trustees and the charity as a whole have received some of the most prestigious honours available to voluntary organisations in the UK.
In 2021, the charity received the highest honour a volunteer group can receive — equivalent to an MBE for voluntary organisations. Also awarded a Special Designation for impactful pandemic support to the community.
In May 2023, Founder and Co- Chair Bob was recognised as a Coronation Champion at the Coronation of King Charles III. He was one of just 500 outstanding volunteers across the UK rewarded for their extraordinary contribution to the community.
The Churchill Local Hero Award for East Sussex was presented to Bob in September 2025.
In October 2023, Founder and Co-Chair Graham received the Albert Schweitzer International Teaching Award for his outstanding contribution to international surgical training. This prestigious global award is given to only one urologist in the world each year.
He received the Endourological Society’s World Endourology Exemplar Award in 2024 for his support of Endourology throughout the world.
In the 2026 King’s New Year Honours he was awarded an OBE for his services to global Endourology.
The British Association of Urological Surgeons awarded him their highest accolade – the St Peter’s Medal – in June 2026 for his services to Urology
