Boost your gift by 25% at no cost to you
If you are a UK taxpayer, our charity can receive Gift Aid on your donation. Currently we receive 25p for each £1 donated — a genuinely worthwhile boost to the donation’s value, and it costs you nothing extra.
Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows UK registered charities to reclaim the basic rate of tax already paid on your donation. All we need is a simple declaration from you confirming that you are a UK taxpayer.
If you are making a bank transfer, simply let us know by email that you are happy for us to claim Gift Aid on your donation.
Make a Gift Aid DeclarationHow Gift Aid works
Based on current basic rate tax of 20%. You must pay an amount of UK Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the Gift Aid reclaimed.
